The Saradomin halo is an item worn in the head slot that can be bought from (or sold to) Lanthus for 300 castle wars tickets. When worn, this item reduces the drain rate of defensive prayers by 33.3% of the normal rate. This is approximately equivalent to a prayer bonus of +15.

The Saradomin halo acts as a Saradomin item and thus prevents Saradomin followers from attacking its wearer in the God Wars Dungeon.

The Saradomin halo, along with Zamorak and Guthix halos, currently give the second highest magic defence bonus of any item worn on head, only surpassed by the Ganodermic visor. The Trickster helm and the Battlemage helm also offer higher magic defence but only in certain minigames. It is also (along with the Zamorak Halo and the Guthix halo) the only item worn in the headgear slot to use the Particle effect.

Also note that Rigour and Augury not being on the list of affected prayers is probably a glitch—an older item not affecting newer content. This was patched in a hidden update.
