The throwing knife is a members-only Ranged projectile. There are no requirements to wield this throwing knife. The throwing knife can be obtained by either utilising the Smithing skill or trading with another player. Throwing knives can be poisoned and wielded with a shield or god book for protection.

To create throwing knives, the player must have at least 22 Smithing. Each iron bar creates 5 iron knives, granting the player 25 Smithing experience. Many players forge throwing knives due to a high demand and a low cost of training Smithing.

Martin Thwait at the Rogue's Den sells Iron knives for 58 coins each, but you may only buy 100 per day.

Throwing knives can be returned to the player by Ava's attractor, accumulator, or alerter.
