The Hooded cloak is an item used in the Castle Wars activity. Players are given their teams' cloak when they enter any of the three God portals: Zamorak, Saradomin or Guthix. Because of this cloak players are not allowed to wear anything in the cape or helmet slots.

This cloak is used to identify the team colours, there are 2 colours:

• Red - Zamorak team; when players enter the red Zamorak portal
• Blue - Saradomin team; when players enter the blue Saradomin portal

Trivia

• There is no team colour for Guthix, even when players enter the Guthix portal. This is because, as Guthix is the God of Balance, players will enter whichever team that has fewer players. If the red team (Zamorak) had one more than the blue team (Saradomin), then the player entering the Guthix portal would join Saradomin's team.
• Players cannot remove this while in a game of Castle Wars or in the waiting room.
• A recent glitch caused the hood of the hooded cloak and parts of the cape to be the same colour as your default shirt, instead of the normal red or blue. This has since been fixed.
