Fractite arrows are arrows released with the Dungeoneering update. They can be made from headless arrows and Fractite arrowheads at level 44 Fletching in Daemonheim, granting experience. They can be obtained as a drop from Sagittare and Forgotten rangers and may be looted from locked chests in the dungeons of Daemonheim. Even though they are Tier 5 and have the same ranged level requirements as rune arrows, they are weaker than even mithril arrows. Fractite arrows can be used at level 40 in Ranged. They are the best arrows available for F2P in Daemonheim.
Their Ranged Strength bonus is between steel arrows and mithril arrows.
Poisoned Versions
These arrows also can be poisoned by using different levels of Weapon poison (Dungeoneering) on them. The available types of poison to use include weak poison, weapon poison, and strong weapon poison. When this is done, the terms p, p+, and p++ are placed after the name to show that they have been poisoned.
It is often uneconomical to poison arrows in dungeoneering, however, as the time and money used to mix poison and poison arrows that might be lost can be better spent moving through dungeons. However, it can be effective to bind poisoned arrows instead of normal arrows just for the extra damage.
