An Amulet of defence is an enchanted amulet that provides a +7 defence bonus. Amulets of defence are created by casting Enchant Level 2 Jewellery on emerald amulets. One will need level 27 Magic, and it requires one cosmic rune and three air runes per cast. The Amulet of Power gives -1 lower defensive bonuses, but includes the addition of accuracy, strength, and prayer bonuses. This contributes to popularity on the power amulet but not the defence one. The Amulet of fury, however, provides +15 defence bonuses and is better than the amulet of defence in every way, except price.
It is one of the least seen amulets because most players prefer offensive bonuses over the lower defensive bonuses this amulet offers.
