A Torstol potion (unf) (more commonly called an Unfinished torstol potion) is an unfinished potion made via the Herblore skill. Players make it by using a clean torstol on a vial of water. At level 78 Herblore, Jangerberries can be added to turn this into a Zamorak brew, giving 175 Herblore experience.
It isn't recommended to make unfinished torstol potions because the torstol herb is much more valuable than the unfinished potion. This is because the torstol herb can be used to make an overload potion at 96 herblore. The clean torstol is mixed with the extreme potions to make the overload, not a torstol potion. This is why torstol potion (unf) is worth much less than the herb used to make it, and is rarely traded on the Grand Exchange.
