Black gauntlets are a reward that can be purchased with tokens from the Fist of Guthix activity. They can be uncharged by talking to Reggie or through Death. They can only be traded when completely uncharged and require 10 Defence to wear. They require 13 Fist of Guthix tokens to recharge. These were once considered the best Fist of Guthix money-maker; providing 593 coins per token, however this has since risen to coins per token.

The worn-out (uncharged) version of the gauntlets is considered the darkest coloured hand-equipment in F2P worlds.
