A Construction cape can be purchased for 99,000 coins alongside the Construct. hood from any Estate agent by players who have achieved skill mastery (level 99) in the Construction skill. It is the Cape of Accomplishment for the Construction skill. Construction capes are a light tan colour, and have a gold trim if the player has more than one level 99 skill.
Although technically the Construct cape is one of the fastest to obtain due to the very high experience rates, it is currently the rarest in the game. This is because Construction has low benefits and is above-average expense wise (varying between 50M - 150M for 1-99). Slower methods cost less, but are still expensive, even when Sacred clay hammers are used. As a result, the Construct. cape is the rarest level 99 cape in the game. For more information in training Construction, see Construction training.
The cape has an emote, lasting 6.69 seconds, during which the player builds a 1x1 house around him/herself with what seems like a bronze warhammer. The cape must be worn in order to perform the emote.
Should a player achieve skill mastery in a second skill after Construction, the Construct. cape will become a Construct. cape (t). The trimmed version has a gold trim and adds a +4 Prayer bonus to the original cape's stats. If 99 Construction is achieved after mastery in other skills, the cape received will automatically be the Construct. cape (t).

Trivia
- Jagex has shortened the name of the item to Construct. cape. The reason for this is unknown, as there are many items with a name longer than Construction cape - the Dungeoneering cape is still named just that even with the 13 character skill name as opposed to Construction's 12 character name.
- The Construction cape is the only skillcape sold by multiple NPCs at the same time (these are in East Ardougne, Varrock, Falador and Seers' Village).
- The Construction skillcape is the only skillcape with orange-yellow trim (it looks similar to the Ranging cape trim). The trim also resembles the Firemaking cape's base colour.
- The Construction Cape once had two separate shoulder colours depending on gender. Males had gold shoulders while females had the matching orange shoulders. This colour changed when the player switched gender at the Make-over Mage.
- This skillcape's emote received a graphical update on 25 May 2010.
- After an update on 2 November 2010, the cape's icon was noticeably made smaller.
