A bronze kiteshield used to be the weakest kiteshield in the game (the weakest now being the training shield). It can be purchased from Cassie's Shield Shop in Falador. A player with 12 Smithing can make the shield by using three bronze bars on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 37.5 Smithing experience.
Level 1 Defence (available to any player) is required to wear this. As an Iron kiteshield has better defensive stats, players usually discard this shield in favour of that.
