The Bronze knife is a members-only Ranged throwing weapon. There are no requirements to wield this throwing knife. They can be obtained either by using the Smithing skill or trading with another player. Bronze knives can be poisoned and can be wielded with a shield or God book for protection. They are very common for Ranged training. However, using mithril darts is a much better choice because mithril darts cost about the same as a bronze knife, but are just as good as steel knives.

To create bronze knives, the player must have at least 7 Smithing. Each bronze bar will create 5 bronze knives and give the player 12.5 Smithing experience.

Martin Thwait at the Rogue's Den sells bronze knives for 14 coins each, but you may only buy 100 per day.

The bronze knife is preferred by pures and hybrids alike, because of their extremely high attack rate, low cost, and the fact that, if used correctly, can deal decent amounts of damage.

Since the Personalised Shops update on 2 September 2009 Bronze Knives became VERY difficult to buy on Grand Exchange due the fact that you only can buy 100 of them at the Rogue's Den a day.

Iron Knives now cost about the same as bronze knives so it is preferred to buy iron knives instead because they have greater power than bronze knives.
