Wimpy feathers are dropped by Wimpy birds, which are found in Oo'glog during and after the As a First Resort... quest. Catching wimpy Birds requires level 39 Hunter. The player must also have a Bird snare and must be holding a Smouldering Tansymum to lure them.
Wimpy feathers can be used to fletch arrows. Unlike other coloured feathers, these cannot be used to make Feather headdresses. They are also used with a Clean wergali herb and a Vial of water to make Fletching potions (level 58 Herblore required).
30 wimpy feathers is a possible reward from a Herblore crate (small) from Squeal of Fortune.
