The Steel two-handed sword is a two-handed sword stronger than the iron 2h sword. Like all Steel weapons, it requires 5 attack to wield. It can only be used in combat. Players can make a steel two-handed sword with the smithing skill at level 44 using three steel bars, giving the player 112.5 smithing experience. Members can purchase this two-handed sword from Gaius's Two Handed Shop in Taverley. It's also dropped by greater demons and slayer monsters with similar drops as greater demons such as nechryaels.

Trivia
- Vannaka, the Combat Instructor and Slayer Master, wields a steel 2h while holding a dragon square shield at the same time.
- The steel 2h is often used in item scamming because it looks similar to a Saradomin Sword. The differences are especially hard to tell when they are in noted form.
