Steel equipment
Steel equipment is equipment stronger than iron equipment. As with all things steel, they are of light, silvery-grey colour.
Weapons
Steel weapons give low attack bonuses. Players require an Attack level of 5 to wield them. They are more expensive and powerful than iron, but less powerful than black/white and mithril equipment. Some of the weapons are used in the quest In Search of the Myreque.

Armour
Steel armour, the third-lowest quality armour on the standard metal armour spectrum (bronze to dragon), requires 5 Defence to wear. A full set of steel armour, which includes a full helmet, a platebody, platelegs, and a kiteshield, sells for 2,500 to 5,000 coins.
