The Small crystal seed is an item given to the player by King Narnode in the Gnome Stronghold as a reward for completing The Eyes of Glouphrie quest. The seed can be enchanted by using it on the Singing bowl in Brimstail's cave in the south west area of the Tree Gnome Stronghold or talking to Ilfeen with it in Tirannwn to turn it into a crystal saw.
During The Path of Glouphrie quest the player can also turn the seed into a crystal chime.
If the player loses the seed, the saw or the chime they can speak to Brimstail to obtain another one. To know if you don't have the seed click "Hello, just wanted a chat." If you aren't able to have this chat option, the player should check that their bank does not already hold a crystal seed, saw or chime. fi:Small crystal seed
