A Singing bowl is in Brimstail's cave in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. You can use the bowl to convert a Small crystal seed into a Crystal saw. You can also use the bowl to revert a crystal saw or a Crystal chime into a small crystal seed. This bowl becomes available during and after The Eyes of Glouphrie quest.
Another singing bowl is in Yewnock's cave in the Gnome Village Dungeon. You can use this bowl to convert a small crystal seed into a crystal chime (not a saw). You can also use the bowl to revert a crystal saw or a crystal chime into a small crystal seed. This bowl becomes available during and after The Path of Glouphrie quest.
