Silver torches were released 11 July 2012, in preparation for the Gielinor Games. They were made available for purchase along with the release of the games on 24 July 2012 and may be purchased in Oomad Arrow's Gielinor Games Reward Shop. They cost 600 contribution points (and 2,500 extra points to unlock the silver tier). Silver torches serve as a light source and provide no combat bonuses
