Gold torches were released 11 July 2012, in preparation for the Gielinor Games, but not made available for purchase until the release of the games on 24 July 2012. It may be purchased from Oomad Arrow's Gielinor Games Reward Shop. It costs 750 contribution points. It is a cosmetic item, and has an emote that can be activated when worn. This item can be stored in POH's toy box. It can be used as a light source. Once obtained, a player could use the drop trick to obtain multiple Gold Torches, limited to inside free worlds.
