The Mithril sword is a sword stronger than the black sword. It can only be used in combat. It requires 20 attack to wield.
Players can make a mithril sword with the smithing skill at level 54 using 1 mithril bar, giving the player 50 smithing experience. Players can purchase this sword from the Varrock Swordshop, at the Grand Exchange or from other players. Mithril swords are possible drops from both level 42 and level 84 Moss Giants. These swords are also good to use for high alching purposes.
