Fur 'n' Seek/Quick guide

This is the quick guide for the quest Fur 'n' Seek; for the more in-depth version click here.

Start point:	Go east of Varrock, through the gate near the earth altar, to Paterdomus. The Odd Old Man is in the limestone mine just north of the path.

Description:	Now he's got some body, the Odd Old Man wants you to give him some skin. Not in the high-fiving sense, mind, but in the hide/fur/fluffy animals sense. One problem, though: the animals aren't so fluffy this time.
Length:	Short-Medium
Requirements:	Quests: Rag and Bone Man 25 Slayer A Combat level of around 50 (recommended)
Items required:	9 bags of salt (pile of salt can also be used) 8 logs (You will not need one for the rock crab) Tinderbox Mirror shield Armour and weapon Antipoison (strongly recommended) Recommended: Dramen staff, Lunar staff (for Fairy rings), or the completion of Fairy Tale III

Getting Started

• Talk to the Odd Old Man in Silvarea which is East-Northeast of Varrock.

Obtaining the Furs

• Below is a list of Furs needed and their locations of which all can be found in the Fremennik Province.
• Kill the monsters until their respective fur is obtained.

Finishing Up

• Use a Bag of salt on each of the hides.
• Return to the Odd Old Man's house.
• In this order:
  • Use logs on the fire pit on the East side of the Odd Old Man's house.
  • Use one of the scrubbed hides on the massive ribs by the fire pit.
  • Light the fire pit and wait for the fire to burn out.
  • Take the hide down.
• Repeat the above steps for each hide except the rock crab carcass which cannot be tanned.
• Talk to the Odd Old Man.
• Quest complete!
