This article is about the frost dragon found in Daemonheim. For the dragons found in Resource dungeons, see Frost dragon.

Frost dragons are found in the Frozen Floors (floors 1-11) of Daemonheim and are quite rare to encounter. They seem to appear more commonly in a party of 3 or more. Despite their namesake, they still breathe the traditional dragonfire and require an anti-dragon shield or a (Weak/Strong) Cure potion. Protect from and Deflect Magic may also be used, but they are only slightly effective and players will still be hit over 300 regularly if they do not employ another source of dragonfire protection. They also have a magic attack that looks similar to a Water Blast spell. They are vulnerable to fire spells and stabbing attacks.

Frost dragons are also notable for being among the first monsters that free to play players can kill that drop dragon bones, thus these monsters turned dragon bones into a free to play item for the first time. However, the dragon bones cannot be taken out of Daemonheim. The three species of dragons (Frost, Iron and Green) found in Daemonheim floors accessible to Free-to-play are the only dragons apart from Elvarg that free-players can fight.

With the release of resource dungeons, members can fight the frost dragons within the resource dungeons (requiring level 85 dungeoneering), and those frost dragons within drop frost dragon bones.
