The Varrock Census is attached to a lectern in the library in the Varrock Palace. It lists the names and occupations of some of the citizens of Varrock from the Year 160 during the Fifth age. Since the current year in RuneScape is Year 169, it is currently 9 years out of date.
The census is used in the Defender of Varrock quest to track down the descendents of the Elders of Avarrocka.

Trivia
- One of the names, Jeremy Clerksin, is listed as a cart expert. This is likely a reference to one of the hosts of the British motoring TV Series, Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson.
- There are three bars in Varrock: the Blue Moon Inn, Jolly Boar Inn, and Dancing Donkey, but no citizens are listed as bartenders, perhaps because the census is out-of-date.
- Treznor Withings, who is listed as a kitchen boy in the Census, is currently a gardener.
