Steel gauntlets are a reward that can be purchased with tokens from the Fist of Guthix minigame. They can be discharged by using them on Reggie or by dying. They can only be traded when completely uncharged and require 5 defence to wear. They require 8 Fist of Guthix tokens to recharge. Buying these from Reggie and selling on the Grand Exchange currently provides Expression error: Unrecognized punctuation character "[". coins per token.
