Skulls are an elemental node in Runespan that allows players to draw death runes from it. They are found on the top floor. It requires level 65 Runecrafting and gives experience in cycles of 120 experience each, though occasionally will also give 2 experience when a failed siphon is performed.
Although the requirement for Skulls is 65 Runecrafting, they are only found on the top floor of the Runespan, thus making the requirement 66.
Unlike creatures, players do not receive any rune essence when a node is depleted of its energy.
