A Proselyte sallet is a piece of armour that can be bought from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Slug Menace quest. The quest is a requirement for wearing the sallet, along with 30 Defence and 20 Prayer.
It has the exact same bonuses as an adamant full helm, except that it offers +4 Prayer bonus. Like other proselyte equipment, it is white with a dark-gold trim.
This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, it can not be obtained from any treasure trail.
The sallet, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.

Trivia
- In real life, this would be better described as a 'double visored' sallet.
- On 6 March 2012 whilst the rest of the Proselyte equipment was graphically updated, like several items, the Proselyte sallet was instead updated on 7 March 2012.
