The Primal 2 handed sword is the second strongest weapon in the game, behind the Primal maul. However, it can only be used in Daemonheim. It requires 99 Attack to wield. It can be obtained by defeating Kal'Ger the Warmonger, who requires a level of 113 Dungeoneering to encounter.
It must be noted, however, that despite the Primal maul's higher strength and attack bonuses, the Primal 2h is more versatile due to it having both Slash and Crush attack styles, whereas the maul only has a Crush. This, coupled with its relative difficulty to obtain, makes the 2 handed sword far more sought-after than its maul counterpart.
The Promethium variant is considered to be the best 2h sword to bind for players without the 113+ Dungeoneering requirement yet who have 90+ Attack. The Primal 2h is very effective against monsters that are weak to the slash attack style, such as Forgotten Rangers, and is also very effective against monsters that are weak to crush attacks, such as earth warriors.

Trivia
- The Skeletal warrior of the Skeletal trio appears to use a damaged version of the Primal 2h.
- Thok appears to be wielding a Primal 2h sword in the Fremennik Saga Thok It To 'Em. He is also seen wielding it in 1 hand in some cases.
- Technically, the Primal 2h sword has the highest level requirements to wield. Kal'Ger the Warmonger can only be encountered at level 113+ Dungeoneering, and you can only obtain the 2h from him, essentially giving it the requirement of 99 Attack and 113 Dungeoneering.
