The Mithril two-handed sword is a two-handed sword stronger than the Black two-handed sword. Like all Mithril weapons, it requires 20 Attack to wield. Players can make a mithril two-handed sword with the smithing skill at level 64 using 3 Mithril bars, giving the player 150 smithing experience. Members can purchase this two-handed sword from Gaius's Two Handed Shop in Taverley. It's also dropped by red dragons, black dragons and bronze dragons. It is also a good knock out weapon for a pure level 20 - 40.
It is required in the Devious Minds quest, in order to procure a bow sword for the monk, a player is required to use the sword on Doric's whetstone, directly east of Taverley. The player is then prompted to add a bowstring to the sword. This process requires 65 Smithing and 50 Fletching.

Trivia
- Before the graphical update, players would offer a noted Rune 2h sword and wait for the other player to put up the money. Once the other player had done so, they would immediately switch the noted Rune 2h sword for a noted mithril 2h sword. Mainly players on f2p worlds lost a lot of money through this scam. However, with the return of Free trade it is now almost impossible to perform this scam as an alert when an offer has been switched warns users that a change has occurred.
