Mad May
Mad May was a members-only event run through May 2012. During this month, members got one extra spin on the Squeal of Fortune every day. Additionally, on 1 June 2012, any player that was a member every day during May will receive an item that doubles experience until 250,000 bonus xp in any skill is achieved. Any player who is a member for the entirety of May will receive 5,000 extra loyalty points.
There will also be Wild Weekends run over the course of May. The first Wild Weekend allowed players a greater chance of winning horns and tattoos on the Squeal of Fortune. The second Wild Weekend gave players double Runespan points. The third Wild Weekend gave players a chance at double loot from certain monsters, and a chance of winning monkey themed items on the Squeal of Fortune. The fourth Wild Weekend offers a chance to hunt down 10 monkey escapees, and also take part in killing invasions of zombie monkeys.
On the 1st of June, players who retained their membership for the entirety of May were rewarded with a Mad necklace. When worn, players would be given double experience for up to 250,000 bonus experience. Along with this players were also given 5,000 Loyalty Points.
