Lizard skulls are masks which store up to 65 summoning scrolls, which will automatically discharge during combat when the Lizard skull is worn and activate the special ability of the player's familiar, as long as the familiar matches the scrolls. Only combat-oriented scrolls can be stored. They can be bought from Pikkupstix in Taverley, Bogrog in Gu'Tanoth, or the Wishing Well in Mort Myre Swamp for 200 coins. They require a Summoning level of 30 to wear. They have the same stats as a cowl but with a higher Summoning defence bonus.

Trivia

• Before,while wearing the helmet if you used the Explorer ring 3 's cabbage port, part of your head would stretch. This would also occur when performing actions that make you lean, such as watering plants or performing Emotes.
• There used to be a glitch where if you sat down while wearing the skull, a long horn would protrude from the skull, making you resemble a unicorn.
