The Armadyl godsword is one of the four legendary godswords that was fought over during the God Wars. Requiring 75 Attack to wield, it is created by attaching a Armadyl hilt to a completed godsword blade, which has no requirements and can be done by any player. Along with the Bandos godsword, the Saradomin godsword, and the Zamorak godsword, the Armadyl godsword carries the highest slash bonus and second-highest strength bonus of all melee weapons in the game, aside from certain weapons in Daemonheim, Stealing Creation, and the Dominion Tower.

Like all godswords, the Armadyl godsword has a special attack, The Judgement, which deals damage with a 25% higher maximum hit than a normal attack, using 50% of the special attack bar.

Uses

The Armadyl godsword's special attack, The Judgement, is capable of hitting a very large amount of damage. Under ideal conditions, a player can potentially deal over 1,000 damage to a monster with the special attack, with an even higher maximum hit during Castle Wars. This has made the Armadyl godsword very popular for both player killing and monster killing; this fact, coupled with the relative difficulty of killing Kree'arra, has rendered it the most expensive godsword. Player killers use the Armadyl godsword as a "knock-out" weapon, hoping to kill their target in one large blow after softening them up with other attacks. It is also useful when fighting boss monsters, such as General Graardor, due to its high hits, and can even be used effectively during Slayer assignments.

• Like other godswords and the God Wars Dungeon itself, the Armadyl godsword received a graphical update on the 5th September 2012. As a nod to Armadyl's aviansies, the blade now resembles a large feather.
