A Godsword blade is the blade of the Godsword obtained only after players fuse shards 1, 2, and 3 together with a Smithing level of 80. The completed blade may then be attached to one of the four hilts obtained in the God Wars Dungeon.
Smithing two different shards of the blade together grants 100 Smithing XP; thus reforging a complete blade will earn a player 200 Smithing XP in total.
Unlike making the Godsword blade, attaching and removing hilts has no Smithing level requirement. Changing a hilt only changes the Special attack of the Godsword - its bonuses remain the same, regardless of hilt. Note that the appearance does change significantly; the sword changes color and shape to match the icon of the hilt, which is still attached to the pommel.

Trivia
- Prior to the 2011 Christmas update, if this item was noted, the tip actually came off the bank note.
- This item can chop bananas.
- The four godswords were updated on 5 September 2012 along with the rest of God Wars Dungeon. However, the blade itself was not changed at all.
