Seal of Approval is an emote that was released on the 20 December 2010 with the 2010 Christmas event called "O Little Town of Daemonheim", in which the player claps like a seal, then turns into one, and returns to normal. The seal is wearing a hat and backpack with a number. There are six different seals numbering one to six each with different colours. Which type you get is chosen at random. This emote is unlocked by doing the Christmas event, first unlocked by Christmas 2010.

The message "The magic of the orbs prevent you from doing the emote." will appear if used in the Great Orb Project. If a player is attacked while performing the emote, a graphic glitch occurs.

There is another glitch that occurs when the emote is used adjacent to ivy and chop is clicked repeatedly; the player will chop sideways into whomever is next to the player's current location. Yet another glitch occurs when the Seal of Approval emote is performed next to an NPC on minimal graphics. The dust-effect will cause the NPC to become invisible for a moment, then return to normal as the emote ends. If you do the emote while holding a Giant's hand and facing another player, It will look like you are Smacking them for the first part of the emote. This is also true for other large or long weapons.

Trivia

  • The "Seal of Approval" emote is used as a form of gambling, due the the recent removal of the "horse game." Typically, this style of gambling is a scam.
  • The emote used to contain the seal clapping, then fall on its stomach, then start clapping again. After an update, the seal only claps.
