Lightweight armour
Many skills in RuneScape can be done more efficiently when the player's weight is as low as possible, so the purpose of lightweight armour is to reduce the rate at which run energy is used up, and provide a decent Defence bonus. Runecrafting through the Abyss or at the Ourania Runecrafting Altar, training Agility at the Wilderness Agility Course, doing a clue scroll, enchanting unpowered orbs, and Penguin Hide and Seek are some examples where having a low weight is important. Weight-reducing equipment can help in further lowering the player's weight.
The following types of armour offer substantial mixed Defence against different Attack types but weigh 0 kg:
- Defender - Weighs 0.5 kg.
- Jewellery, including Regen bracelet, Amulet of fury, Fremennik rings, Ring of life.
