The Runner hat is a piece of member's only armour. To wear the hat the player must have at least 40 Defence. The runner hat can be obtained by exchanging 275 Honour points in each role from the Barbarian Assault minigame. It has the same stats as a Rune full helm, with a +1 magic defence bonus and no negative attack bonuses. This hat is largely used by anyone who is looking to show prestige in Barbarian Assault.

Trivia
- Since the September 5, 2012 update, the hat is smaller and does not cover the eyes. Luxia Fowl is very annoyed at this.
