Fine cloth is a material used in the making of splitbark armour that must be given to the armoured wizard in the Wizards' Tower to create pieces of splitbark armour. By using ten pieces of it along with a Necromancer kit, one can turn Dagon'hai robes into Necromancer Gear . Fine cloth can be obtained from any level of chest in the Shades of Mort'ton activity, but the higher level chests have a better chance of acquiring it. Due to the relative ease of purchasing splitbark armour on the Grand Exchange, the value of fine cloth has abated somewhat. However, due to a treasure trail update on the 4th of August, 2010, players now require splitbark helms for an emote clue, thus greatly increasing the demand for it. This made the price for fine cloth spike. It has since dropped considerably and is nearly worthless again.
