Studded chaps are studded leather armour worn on the legs that are an improved version of Leather chaps. They requires 20 Ranged to wear. Members can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 44 by using steel studs with leather chaps, granting 42 Crafting experience.
They are sold at Aaron's Archery Appendages in the Ranging Guild for 750 coins or he will buy for 375 coins. Stock quantity is 15. Lowe's Archery Emporium in Varrock sells them for 750 coins, buys them for 225 coins and has a stock of 10. Studded chaps trimmed or gold trimmed is a level 1 Treasure Trail reward. During Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf quest Rowdy dwarf can ask player to bring him studded chaps in exchange for 1 Kelda seed. They can also be obtained by catching certain implings.
