Worm crunchies are a gnome food that can be made at level 14 Cooking and heal 80 Life Points. In order to make them, Gianne dough is put into a crunchy tray and heated up. Two king worms, one equa leaf, and a shake of gnome spice is then added, and the crunchies are baked. Finally, they are sprinkled with more gnome spices.
This item of food is an order in the Gnome Restaurant activity, and may also be obtained by an order through a Reward Token. Many players may make this along with other Gnome Food, therefore only leaving the job of delivering the food, in hopes of getting a unique gnome item.
Cookbook Recipe
This is the direct recipe found in Gianne's cook book:
Using a crunchie tray, form a portion of Gianne dough into small evenly sized balls. Heat these briefly in an oven. Mix into the dough balls two king worms, one sprig of equa leaves and a shake of gnome spices. Bake the crunchies for a short time in the oven. Sprinkle generously with gnome spices to finish.
Crunchies were invented accidently by Pukkamay, who was Deelie's assistant, before his sacking. He started a successful crunchie making business before dying in a bizarre Terrorbird accident.
