The whetstone is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Workshop of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. Building a whetstone requires at least 35 Construction, 4 oak planks and 1 limestone brick. The player can repair broken arrows, broken staves and rusty swords to their original states on the bench.

Trivia

The whetstones in Doric's house and at the Edgeville furnace cannot repair damaged armours or weapons.
Using an item on the whetstone at the Edgeville furnace yields the in-game message: "You don't need to grind that here."
