A Thin snail is a piece of raw meat that is dropped by snails in Mort Myre Swamp. It may be on cooked either a range or a fire, requiring level 12 Cooking. This yields 70 experience and thin snail meat, which heals 50 to 70 life-points in one bite. Thin snails are also used at level 13 Summoning to make thorny snail pouches.
Once players have supplied the Burgh De Rott general store during the quest In Aid of the Myreque, it stocks 10 thin snails. A friend who has finished that part of the quest might be persuaded to buy for them, avoiding the need to hunt snails or buy them elsewhere. The shop could prove useful for Temple Trekking or Burgh De Rott Ramble, since players can give cooked thin snail to their companions in those minigames.
Cooking a thin snail is required for the task called "It's Only Wafer Thin", to complete the Easy Morytania achievement diary.
Players may receive thin snail from opening a box of summoning ingredients, a possible reward from the Familiarisation Distraction and Diversion.
