Slayer's respite (m) (also known as mature slayer's respite) is a stat enhancing beer that temporarily raises a player's Slayer level by 2. It is the stronger or 'mature' version of the regular slayer's respite, which adds only one level to Slayer. Its effects are not very useful due to the short period of time that the Slayer boost is actually active and that it decreases Attack and Strength levels. Slayer's respite can be made using the brewing vats in eastern Keldagrim or Port Phasmatys.
The full recipe for standard Slayer's respite is as follows (in the order given):
- 2 Buckets of Water
- 2 Barley Malt.
- (optional) 1 "The Stuff," to increase chance of maturity.
- 4 wildblood hops
- 1 Ale Yeast
- Wait two to five days
- Collect the completed ale using eight Beer Glasses or two Calquat Kegs*.
*Calquat kegs are highly recommended, especially if the ale has matured. Simply by collecting the ale in a keg, the value of the batch will increase by several thousand gp.
During the brewing process, there is a small chance that any ale will turn out mature; leaving a normal ale in the vat after it has finished brewing will not make it turn mature. The chance of brewing a mature ale can be increased by adding the stuff to the brewing vat, just prior to adding the hops.

- Wild pie is commonly used instead as of the respite as it boosts slayer by 5 levels and is cheaper.
