Ranger's aid is a drink that came with the 28 July 2009 update. It is only available from Marion in the Poison Arrow Pub for the price of 25 coins, or second-hand from other players via the Grand Exchange. The effect of Ranger's Aid is a skill boost to Ranged by +2 and a Defence decrease of -5. Players can also buy the matured version for 50 coins from Marion. It raises the Ranged skill by +3 while decreasing the Defence skill by -6.
Trivia
- The Ranger's aid is a similar drink to the Wizard's mind bomb, except for rangers.
- Dragon bitter, Ranger's aid and Wizard's mind bomb are all the beers that are associated with the combat triangle.
- Ranger's aid, Bandit's Brew, Grog and Beer are one of the only types of ales players cannot brew themselves.
