Rock is the strongest troll on Death Plateau. Players must be very cautious when fighting him, as he can hit a max of 309 and has a fair amount of life points. Since he only attacks with melee, Protect from Melee or Deflect Melee is recommended. Like the rest of the "big, bad" trolls in the area, such as Stick, Pee Hat, and Kraka, he may drop a Rune warhammer or Granite shield. The level 69 and 71 trolls do not drop those two items, despite beliefs to the contrary.

Since trolls are named after the first thing they try to eat, he probably tried to eat a rock.

• Rock originally had a combat level of 111, but it was increased to 157 with the release of Troll Warzone. The same update also increased the combat level of his partner, Stick, from 104 to 141.
