Pretzels could be bought from Pretzel Bert for one coin each, and were exclusive to the Oktoberfest event of 2010. When consumed, the players chat box dialogue would state; "You eat the pretzel. It restores one life point and you feel the spirit of the Oktoberfest festival." As such, the pretzel heals 1 lifepoint.

Up to 24 pretzels could be purchased at one time. If you attempted to buy 25 or more, Bert would be astounded and will ask how you could possibly eat that many. There was, however, no limit on how many could be purchased.

On 18 October 2010, with the update of the 2010 Hallowe'en event, all Oktoberfest pretzels were removed from the game along with Pretzel Bert.

Trivia

• The pretzel is the worst healing non-player made food.
• You cannot store the pretzel inside a cornucopia.
• The examine text breaks the fourth wall by referring to the real-world updates. The Lily of the valley and Easter Carrot are other event-related items that do this.
• Many players would try to hoard or store many Oktoberfest pretzels in hope that they would keep them.
