The oddly shaped stick is used to defeat the Armoured cow thing (more commonly known as the Bulwark beast) during the Fremennik saga Thok It To 'Em. It is found in the Bulwark beast's room, stuck in a rock. It is actually a novite pickaxe, but Thok doesn't recognise it as such.
The oddly shaped stick also has special attacks, those of the Granite maul, Dragon pickaxe, and Dragon halberd. He also, like his sword, can do a special headbutt attack. This special attack uses 25% of the special attack bar.
