Moe the Miner was a miner who was mining tin at the Varrock west mines. When spoken to, he would give any member a free dwarven army axe. He had the same function as Larry the Lumberjack. He was an NPC specifically designed for members and is a part of the Member's Loyalty programme. Though the axe he gives looks differently from Larry's axe, in truth they are the same item, shifting looks depending on what use the axe has and what combat style it is being used in.
He was removed from the game after the Troll Warzone update.
Trivia
- Larry and Moe's names is a reference to two of the Three Stooges.
- If you mine the same tin rock that Moe is mining and receive the ore, Moe will continue to mine the rock even though it is empty.
