Mature moonlight mead is the mature version of Moonlight mead. When drunk, it will heal 60 life points versus the 40 of the regular type. It can be made with the Cooking skill at level 44. A keg of 4 doses of this brew can be drunk, in four bites, for a total of 240 LP of healing in one inventory space, 6720 LP for a full inventory of kegs, which places this item at the low end of the most concentrated healing items in the game. A 4 dose keg of this ale heals 10 more than a rocktail, but takes much longer to eat and are rare on the grand exchange. And past 69 Constitution, a basket of strawberries(5)s will heal more hp at a much lower price.

The full recipe for standard Moonlight mead is as follows (ingredients used in the order given):

1. 2 Buckets of Water
2. 2 Barley Malt.
3. (optional) 1 "The Stuff," to increase chance of maturity.
4. 4 Bittercap mushrooms
5. 1 Ale Yeast
6. Wait two to five days
7. Collect the completed ale using eight Beer Glasses or two Calquat Kegs*.

*Calquat kegs are highly recommended, especially if the ale has matured. Simply by collecting the ale in a keg, the value of the batch will increase by several thousand gp. This ale is considerably more useful in a keg, as it stacks 4 doses into one inventory slot.
