A Limestone altar is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Chapel of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. It gives an 175% Prayer experience when bones or Demonic ashes are offered at it. With one incense burner lit it gives 225% Prayer experience, while with two lit incense burners it will give 275% experience.
Building a limestone altar requires 64 Construction, 6 mahogany planks, 2 bolts of cloth, and 2 limestone bricks. Creating a limestone altar gives the player 910 Construction experience.
Players may prefer building this altar instead of the higher-level Marble altar and Gilded altar, as the limestone altar is the highest-level altar that does not require Marble blocks to construct.
Trivia
- When offering demonic ashes at an altar, the altar's offering animation shows bones instead of ashes.
- Although it requires bolts of cloth, no cloth is actually visible on the altar.
