The Lederhosen shorts are a reward from the Freaky Forester random event. They make up a part of the Lederhosen set.
Female characters sometime combine white mystic boots with the leggings, giving the appearance of knee-high white boots. The player can also combine the leggings with villager sandals or shoes from Balthazar Beauregard's Big Top Bonanza, resulting in the socks appearing to be cut apart. They are often coveted by female characters for being the shortest free-to-play shorts.
This random event is most common while woodcutting, fletching or firemaking.
