The Kalphite King is a new boss confirmed at RuneFest. It is likely that it will share the common poison attacks of the majority of current kalphite and have a higher combat level than the Kalphite Queen.
The Keris dagger will likely have bonus effects against the Kalphite King.
Interviews with Jmods at MCM Expo 2012 suggested that the Kalphite King will be stronger than the Queen Black Dragon, and that he will only be defeatable by groups <ref>MCM 2012; Interview with Mod Osbourne.*</ref>
The Kalphite King is scheduled to be released in early 2013.
