The Illuminated Book of Balance is obtainable after completing the quest One Piercing Note. It is created by going into one of the south-western rooms in the abbey and using Guthix's book of balance (obtained from Horror from the Deep and adding pages 1–4) on the table in there. In order to do this, you need 60 Prayer and 60 Crafting. You will gain 10,000 Prayer and Crafting experience the first time you illuminate a Guthix's book of balance.
This has the same stats as Guthix's book of balance but with +8 Prayer bonus.
