Decorative shield was discontinued from RuneScape after an update. |
Decorative shields could be bought at the Castle Wars area south of the Observatory. The cost of the shield depended on the colour. All three different colours had different stats.
On 27 May 2010, with the release of improvements to Castle Wars, these shields were replaced with the Basic decorative shield, Detailed decorative shield, Intricate decorative shield, and Profound decorative shield.

The Red decorative shield can be bought at the Castle Wars area south of the observatory for 6 Castle Wars tickets. They can be bought from Lanthus. It has about the same stats as a Steel kiteshield and requires level 5 Defence to wield.

The White decorative shield can be bought at Castle Wars from Lanthus. It costs 60 Castle Wars tickets. The White Decorative Shield has about the same stats as a Mithril kiteshield and requires level 20 Defence to wear.Some players use the Training Shield as a cheap alternative to this.

The Gold decorative shield can be bought from Lanthus at Castle Wars area south of the observatory for 600 Castle Wars Tickets. The Gold Decorative Shield has about the same stats as an Adamant kiteshield and it requires level 30 Defence to wield.

Trivia
- The Training shield bought from Beefy Bill used to look exactly like the White Decorative shield. This was changed when the horizontal blue line was removed from the Training shield, although the shields still look similar.
